Real Estate Law
Property checks, contracts and transfer of title, so that before you sign you know exactly what you are buying or selling.

Buying a flat or a house is the biggest purchase most people ever make. My job is to make sure every surprise is gone before signing: encumbrances, disputed entries and unclear terms.
I act for buyers and sellers, from the first check and negotiation to the certification of the contract and registration in the cadastre.
What it covers
- Purchase and sale of real estate
- Legal due diligence of real estate
- Drafting preliminary agreements and contracts
- Lease agreements
- Mortgages and other security instruments
- Legalisation of buildings
- Disputes related to real estate transactions
How I work
Before any payment I check ownership, encumbrances, annotations and the status of the building. Then I draft or review the preliminary agreement and the contract, with a clear price, deadlines and handover, and follow the deal until the new owner is registered.
Worth knowing
In Serbia a real estate sale contract is concluded before a notary, as a solemnised deed. Do not pay a deposit until ownership and encumbrances have been checked.
A mistake in a property purchase costs the most when it is found after signing.
